February 2022 - Present

Responsibilities:

  • Videographer and Editor

  • I produce video content for clients, involving interviews, panel discussions, events, conferences, promotional content, bulletins, social media content, highlights and more.

  • I help with production management, directing, camera operation, sound tech, lighting, location set up and post-production. I am well versed in each role for a production, being in a small team has allowed me to explore many avenues and build my confidence.

  • I have worked with a diverse range of equipment in studio and on location which I highly enjoy and I'm confident in.

  • For editing, I use Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.

  • I also manage social media accounts and oversee the content pushed out, copywriting, liaising with clients and social media reports.

Hearst

October 2021 -January 2022 (FTC)

Responsibilities:

  • Junior Social Video Editor

  • I created content for magazines across Hearst for their social medias, including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, websites and more.

  • I learnt about the different requirements for the magazine, alongside regulations for each platform which I am able to follow strictly.

  • I used a variety of software's to create videos and thumbnails including; Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects whereby I've expanded my knowledge across these all these platforms.

  • I worked closely with my team who provided me with constructive feedback which aided me in the progression of my work.

  • I also helped out on shoots for the magazines, such as CosmopolitanUK and SugarScape. Within these shoots I helped with camera operations, SONY FS7 + FS5 and Blackmagic 4K camera's. I also helped with equipment set up / packing away (lights, tripods, camera's, backdrops etc).

  • I highly enjoyed helping out on set and learnt a lot about working with talent, working to a deadline, studio environment and equipment.

Jellysmack

July - August 2021

Responsibilities:

  • Junior Video Editor at Jellysmack

  • I edited daily content for various social medias, mainly focusing on Facebook.

  • Being located in the beauty pod I worked with makeup / fashion Youtube videos which needed to be edited down for Facebook. From this I learnt about Facebook's branding and how to target a specific audience.

  • I used a variety  of softwares to create videos and thumbnails including; Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Audition. From my time here I expanded my knowledge greatly in these platforms for example, working with MOGRTS, sound editing and more.

  • I worked closely with my editing supervisor when producing the videos which has taught me a lot about working with senior people in the workplace.

  • I followed strict briefs and deadlines in order to complete my work.

  • I hope to use my knowledge that I learnt from Jellysmack to help me in the industry, specifically for marketing and other creative roles.

Stormbreak

June 2020 - November 2020

Responsibilities:

  • Video editor at Stormbreak. 

  • I edited weekly content which went live on their YouTube channel and website for schools to use to help with children's mental health.

  • The video footage I edited were all activities, exercises, meditations and much more which help better mental health. 

  • In terms of my responsibilities, I was required to use a software of my choice and I chose Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the raw footage.

  • I followed a strict brief for the videos and branding guidelines of requirements which I was quick to adapt to. I was efficient at sticking to my requirements and completing the work to the highest of standards. 

  • I received positive feedback about my reliability to get the job done and I thoroughly enjoyed editing the visuals and the audio.

  • I have learnt a lot about editing since working with Stormbreak and have broadened my knowledge in post-production, mainly on Premiere Pro. 

  • From working here, I have gained confidence in my editing skills and can say that I am a strong editor. 

  • I hope to use my experience from working here to boost my skill-set in other areas of work

  • I also hope to use this to gain further experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • As a shop assistant, my duties include, approaching customers, offering my help and advice about our stock, operating the tills and supporting store operations.

  • I also am also required to retrieve shoes from the stock-room, whilst offering alternatives and other designs that customers may also like to try on.

  • I am a perfectionist at cleaning the stands and hoovering / mopping at the end of every day.

  • I have gained sales experience through understanding customer requirements and providing recommendations on products that would best suit.

  • Working here has helped boost my organisation skills as I balance my job with university.

TK-Maxx

August 2016 - September 2018

Responsibilities:

  • Predominantly I worked on the tills where I was constantly serving customers and providing the best customer service whilst facing more challenging customers at times.

  • I learnt how to deal with trickier customers by staying calm and offering my utmost and best advice to extinguish the situation.

  • I was also based at the ladies accessories department where I had to organise and tidy shelves and help customers.

  • Working here strengthened my time management skills through balancing profession with schoolwork and exams. It also boosted my confidence in communicating with others and being able to sell products.
